SharpEnd Designs has been designing for High Sierra Energy Foundation for over 15 years. Earth Day 2023 was an especially fun project. We designed a poster, bookmark, sticker, advertisements, and social media slides.
Created by Winter Wildlands Alliance, the ski kind campaign was born from a need for a Backcountry Responsibility Code, a set of guidelines to promote responsible winter recreation. Backcountry participation numbers increased due to resort restrictions and people looking for COVID-safe activities. Ski Kind provides tools that all users can learn from and take to heart. WWA hired SharpEnd Designs to design the logo and awareness toolkit. It was a fantastically fun project! Follow ski kind. on instagram.
Winter Wildlands Alliance is a "national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving winter wildlands and a quality human-powered snowsports experience on public lands through education, outreach and advocacy."
It's been a pleasure working with this inspiring non-profit, and we've collaborated with WWA to create a new logo, two annual membership guide booklets, and several issues of Trail Break, their bi-annual newsletter. Winter Wildlands Alliance is a great example of a client that came to SharpEnd Designs with a strong brand already in place. SharpEnd enjoyed carefully executing a fresh design strategy while honoring the existing brand.
The Bodie Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, and public enjoyment of Bodie State Historic Park, Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve, and Grover Hot Springs State Park.
SharpEnd Designs has been working with Bodie Foundation for many years. From numerous websites for Bodie and the non-profits it manages, to brochure and folder design. Keri works hard to preserve the brand and maintain a consistent design look.
In 2020 Mono County and SharpEnd Designs partnered in the creation of a 44-page Public Safety Realignment Report documenting the successful initiation of the Public Safety and Realignment Act. Access the full report here.
Friends of the Inyo and SharpEnd Designs have been working together for over fifteen years. And it’s been a fun adventure. In 2018 FOI decided it was time to rebrand. A new logo brought about a redesign of their biannual newsletter the Jeffrey Pine Journal. SharpEnd also designs the annual Owens Lake Bird Festival, hosted by FOI. The list of marketing projects goes on and on. Thank you FOI for a rewarding collaboration between client and designer.
Mountain Rambler Brewery is a small town brewery and restaurant with a mission to bring world class craft beer to Bishop CA. And they deliver!

Five consecutive President’s Awards from Toyota is a nearly impossible accomplishment for a dealership, but Perry Motors has managed to do it. This 3rd generation family-owned business has been in Bishop since 1947. They believe in giving their customers a great car buying experience every time.
Perry Motors contacted Nils Davis Design (now SharpEnd Designs) in 2016 to redesign their logo and business branding. The client requested that the new logo design reflect the historical significance of seventy years of existence, and honor Perry Motors as one of the oldest businesses still thriving in Bishop. Classic, fresh, clean, historical and vintage were some of the adjectives used to describe what Perry Motors wanted.

Originating in 1969, the annual celebration of Mule Days on Memorial Weekend has put Bishop California on the map. The event is proud to host the longest running non-motorized parade in the U.S. Our world-class celebration of the mule is unlike any other equine event in the country, and attracts an average of more than 20,000 participants a year.
SharpEnd Designs (formerly Nils Davis Design) has designed a variety of promotional material including posters, advertisements, brochures, booklets, Flipbooks and flyers for Mule Days. SharpEnd also redesigned the Mule Days website in 2018.
HDRP works with local governments within the Greater High Desert Region (in Southern California) to implement change in energy consumption. HDRP assists residents, business owners and municipalities in identifying programs that help the community become more energy efficient. HDRP partners with Southern California Edison, The Clean Energy Organization and local energy champions.
SharpEnd Designs worked in collaboration with HDRP to design several logos with the goal of promoting the mission of the Partnership.
In 2014, Inyo County asked Nils Davis Design (SharpEnd Designs) to create a shirt design commemorating the intrepid explorer and climber Norman Clyde. Using vintage photos, Keri Davis created a vector graphic that was printed on t-shirts and sold in their museum in Independence, CA.
The Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association’s mission is to educate and inspire people about Eastern Sierra public lands through high quality interpretive products, exhibits, and programs. ESIA operates bookstores and visitor centers, and provides high quality interpretive programs, exhibits, and publications throughout the Eastern Sierra.
SharpEnd Designs has been lucky enough to help ESIA with numerous projects. From event marketing with posters and guides, to brochures and magazines. The relationship keeps getting better. Keri’s looking forward to many exciting projects in 2020.
Located in Washington state, VivoAnimals is a small supplement company that provides safe and beneficial ways to "Remove The Barriers To Wellness" by giving pets the long, healthy lives they deserve. SharpEnd Designs was tasked with redesigning Vivo's labels.
Nils Davis Design (now SharpEnd) sought to freshen the look while staying true to the original branding. A trifold brochure was also designed to promote the full line of products offered.
Taos School of Music seeks to assist young musicians in developing their technique and deepening their devotion to classical chamber music. According to Taos School of Music's About page on the website, "Chilton Anderson, one of the founders and executive director, never imagined the school would be one of the leading chamber music institutions in the country."
Nils Davis Design (SharpEnd) has worked closely with the executive director to create elegant and effective marketing pieces promoting the school's attendance and concerts. Material designed includes trifold brochures, foldable poster brochures, and advertisements.
